Committed to Safety

Starting at the front door, our health, safety, and cleaning procedures have been amplified in recent months. Our goal is to ensure the healthiest learning environment possible for your child. As we move forward, our priority will always be your child’s safety first.

Play Areas

INDOOR: We offer a large variety of options for children for indoor play when the weather is not suitable for outdoor play.  Some of these indoor options include tabletop activities including puzzles, art projects, sensory play, manipulatives, classroom games, make-believe play including dress-up clothes, play kitchens, baby dolls, and lots of cars/trucks/transportation items.

OUTDOOR: We offer over 8,000 sq.ft of outdoor play space including 1 area which is specifically designed for our younger children ages 12 months – 2 years and another area specifically designed for children ages 3-4 years old.  Our largest play area is open to children ages 3 yrs – 12 yrs and offers a swing set, monkey bars, various other play items, a large concrete basketball area with a large shelter area for shade, and picnic tables for rest.  Each class is given 2 opportunities each day to go outside for fresh air and exercise.  We also have a community garden that the children will visit throughout the growing season to learn about growing their own food, how insects affect the garden, and other fun science/learning activities.  They also get the opportunity to try the fresh veggies and fruit that grow in the garden!  During the summer months, we also provide water days where the children can cool off and get wet.

Activities

We offer a large variety of fun activities throughout the year including pajama day, movie day, holiday parties, COSI mobile visits, Captain Reptile, yummy treats from the ice cream truck, and many more.

FOOD

Each day, we provide breakfast, lunch, and snack. All food is prepared in-house and our kids absolutely love it!

Friendship

We work very hard to provide a safe and loving environment where our children can learn proper social skills including kindness and respect.  We do not tolerate bullying or aggressive behavior of any kind.  We strive to model proper friendship skills through the way that we treat the children and each other.  Our children create strong friendships through their time spent with us that will enrich their lives for years to come.

Developmental Goals

Our teachers are dedicated to helping your child meet their developmental milestones. We not only help your child to strengthen their current skills, but we assist them in learning new ones. This is done through age appropriate learning activities, one on one support, observations and screenings of your child’s development as well as working alongside of you to provide your child with the best possible opportunity to grow and develop.

Head Start Partnership

We partner with CDCFC Head Start to offer a Head Start Program to children who are enrolled full-time in our daycare and qualify for the program. Our Head Start Program is a half day program from 8:30am to 12:00pm each day. During the Head Start hours, your child benefits from lower ratios with a degreed lead teacher and an assistant teacher in the class, extra educational activities and developmental observations. Our Head Start program provides additional support and services to prepare children for success in kindergarten as well as providing support and tools for the whole family.

Support is provided in the following areas: education, literacy, nutrition, health & wellness, adult education and social services. The goal of Head Start is the overall well-being of both the child and whole family. If you are interested in more information regarding our Head Start Program, please call the center and ask to talk to Miss Loretta.
